The XRA-700 is a multichannel X-ray spectroscopy system, with seven high-performance X-ray detectors with low noise preamplifiers, plus the control unit with power supplies and cooling. Please contact us for more information.

PLEIADES XRA-700 Detector Array

As standard, the system is configured with seven 70 mm2 FAST SDD® detectors, but other options include:
  • 70 mm2 FAST SDD with a C2 window (40 nm of Si3N4) for detecting X-rays down to the Be Kα line.
  • 1 mm thick 70 mm2 FAST SDD for up to 2x better intrinsic efficiency at high energies.
  • CdTe detectors with good efficiency up to 150 keV.
FEATURES​
  • Can be configured with 7 identical detectors, or for any combination of the detectors, to better optimise the sensors for a particular measurement.
  • Compatible with third-party multi-channel digital pulse processors.
  • In the event a window breaks, only 1 detector fails, the remaining detectors continue functioning as normal so you can keep running your experiment.
  • Design allows for faster and more economical replacement of an individual detector.
