Molecular In-Vivo Imaging Seminar - A Success!

We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who attended the Molecular In-Vivo Imaging Seminar (jointly presented by Analytical Technologies Pte Ltd and Berthold Technologies) which was held at the Portsdown Room, Singapore Science Park 1.

The participants were treated to half a day of seminar, the first part of which included a talk on In-Vivo Imaging and the Berthold NightOwl II.

Applications on In-Vivo Imaging were tackled on the second part of the seminar.

As there was a working NightOwl II present, the participants were then treated to a hands-on session, where bioluminescence was measured as emitted from a leaf specimen.

We would also like to acknowledge Mr. Ivo Que, from Leiden University Medical Center and consultant for Berthold Technologies, who conducted the seminar and shared his expertise with the rest of the participants.

This event would not be a success without your presence, and we would like to thank everyone - the researchers, faculty and students from various universities and research centers - who participated.

AFIS in Royal Thai Police
It has taken over 2 years of dialogue and evaluation, but all came to fruition when Analytical and Spex Forensics, a division of Horiba Jobin Yvon, installed and commissioned a new AFIS (Automatic Fingerprint Identification System) system for the Royal Thai Police in Bangkok. Initially armed with desk-top & several note-book version of this most accurate of fingerprinting system, the RTP are now in a position to not only compare prints held within its data base, but make immediate checks of suspects at ‘scene-of-crime’ sites. For further information on this system please visit: http://www.jobinyvon.com/usadivisions/Forensic/printquest.htm
