These new Models 2930 position-sensitive
detectors (PSDs) deliver exceptional performance
with a range of convenient features.
With <0.25-µm resolution, <±15-µm accuracy, and 16-bit digital output resolution, these detectors are ideal for beam position, pointing and power measurements.
Available in 4x4 mm, 9x9 mm and 13x13 mm beam sizes. |

These quadrant-cell photoreceivers are ideal when you need to measure
small deviations in the position of your laser beam, such as that
required in beam-stabilization systems. Quadrant-cell photoreceivers
consist of four individual yet identical photocells positioned very
close to each other.
Available in Si Quadrant Cell and InGaAs Quadrant Cell models.

These quadrant-cell photoreceivers are ideal when you need to measure
small deviations in the position of your laser beam, such as that
required in beam-stabilization systems. With their larger active areas,
these versions can be used with larger beams, and/or measure larger
deviations. Quadrant-cell photoreceivers consist of four individual yet
identical photocells positioned very close to each other.

With the extra-large diameter detectors in these photoreceivers, you'll
be able to tweak your experiment without worrying about the beam
wandering off the detector. Just position the detector close to where
you think the laser beam is and you'll see a signal. No more
time-consuming and tedious alignment procedures.
Available in Si and Ge large area photoreceiver models.

Designed for use in laboratory applications or for test and measurement
of 10-Gbit/s datacom devices, the Model 1780 is an 850-nm, 10-Gbit/s,
directly modulated, multimode vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser
(VCSEL). The Model 1780 uses high-performance microwave circuitry to
ensure clean delivery of the electrical input to the VCSEL chip, and
the VCSEL's 50-µm output fiber enables the use of either 50-µm or
62.5-µm fiber.
