14-Pin Cooled Butterfly Module
The Bookham 14-pin cooled butterfly product range can support kink free powers from 100mW to an industry leading 600mW utilizing the latest ultra high power technology. The hermetically sealed product incorporates a monitor diode, thermistor and thermoelectric cooler enabling operation over a wide temperature range of -20 to +75 degrees Celsius. External Fibre Bragg Grating (FBG) stabilization provides excellent wavelength and power stability over entire operating range.

Un-cooled MiniDIL Pump
The Bookham LU9**X 980nm Pump Laser Module is the second generation un-cooled pump module providing higher power for highly reliable amplification for metro, cross-connect or other single/multi-channel amplification applications. The LU9**X uses a Mini-DIL package enabling low-cost and small form-factor. The G07 ridge-waveguide laser diode inside has been designed for un-cooled operation at high temperature and power levels. Submarine qualification of the G07 chip ensures high reliability even at 200mW, 70°C. External Fibre Bragg Grating (FBG) stabilization provides excellent wavelength and power stability over the entire temperature operating range.

Uncooled Multimode Laser Diode Module
The Bookham MU4-940 multimode laser diode module
has been designed to provide the high power
and reliability required for pumping next generation
high power amplifiers for CaTV and FTTx.
The pump module includes a multimode laser diode
chip with E2 front mirror passivation that prevents
Catastrophic Optical Damage (COD) to the laser diode
facet even at very high power levels. The coupling
process allows for high output powers that are very
stable with both time and temperature.
