Stains for Protein Electrophoresis
|
BERTHOLD TECHNOLOGIES offers 3 staining products for protein staining in gels after electrophoretic separation: AmphiBlue, AmphiRed and AmphiGreen. The stains are based on interactions of chelated metal with the proteins. The stains show an increased sensitivity and a wide linearity.
A major benefit of the Amphi stanins is the reversibility of the staining providing an efficient de-staining of excised protein or spots for further investigation.
Even membrane proteins which are usually difficult to treat can be successfully stained with the Amphi stains.
